Mainly cause I ride year around for transportation here in the Bay area and its cold these days. It fits well under a full face helmet and keeps my face warm. A must for that small space around the neck where cold air slips in. Not when yourHelmet strap keeps it close your to neck and your jacket buttons should keep it down against your neck.
