It outside of the part that goes on your head is slick, so it slides into your helmet well. The inside is more fleese-like so it feels fuzzy and comfortable. The part that goes around your neck is thicker and fleesy inside and out. Perfect for frigid riding. Fits a little snug, so if you have an enormous melon you might not fit into it.
