I have worn this helmet on many long distance rides. What I like best is the lightweight feel over the long haul. I have upgraded from the RF-1000 and the upgrades are significant. I also ride ICON but find this to be the most comfortable helmet all the way around. Also, it has included benefits such as pin-lock technology and a FREE pin-lock shield! If you are not familiar with the pin-lock system, it is a dual pane type system that eliminates fogging of the shield. I totally recommend this helmet if you are looking for the best protection for your head in this stylish, lightweight, and feature packed platform.

Upgraded from the old 1000, what a difference, this helmet is lighter and better ventilated. But by far the best thing is the Pin lock Visor, over the last 3 month (winter) I have not been able to fog it up, clearest vision in all condition, and more peripheral vision too when you read the specs it says 5 or 10 mm wider visor it doesn't sound like much but it is really noticeable. and great to have fully removable lining.
