Look great on the bike and way more comfortable. Had to reroute the cables through the tree, the brakeline is a bit tight but that gives me an excuse to replace it with a braided line.

These are heavy, solid, great looking chrome risers which do exactly what they are supposed to do - raise and offset the handlebars to a more comfortable position while looking good. Installation was straight-forward, and the directions are well-written. It will help to have an extra pair of hands (to avoid banging your tank with your handlebars). It is also extremely advisable to protect your tank with a couple sets of towels. I found it easier to start the threads attaching the triple tree to the risers, complete the handlebar-to-riser step, and then tighten the risers to the triple tree - this way, you avoid the rotation of the risers which will cause scratches in the triple tree. I've knocked down the Overall value somewhat due to the fact that Big Bike uses 5mm allen bolts instead of Yamahas 6mm bolts, and thus, you cannot reuse the allen head bolt covers that come with your stock risers. A small thing, perhaps - but a oversight on the part of Big Bike Parts for something that c...
