Love the look of these on my VTX1300. Replaced stock with these. The only "prblem I ran into is the Windshield. The wiring was ran outside the hardware so the extra length of the 4in risers made thbings a little tight. Not really much of an issue until I am parking and have the bars all the way over.

These risers really put my bars within reach. The risers brought the bars far enough up and back that I'm sitting comfortably upright with my elbows bent instead of hunched forward reaching (I am 5'8). That "pinch" in my back is gone. Easy to install; did not require cable/wire modification. Beautiful fit and finish. INSTALLATION FYI: The washer that came off of the nut side of the stock risers fits perfectly in the recess on top of the triple tree. I see some reviewers bought new washers, but there is no need. Also, instructions do not call for it, but I recommend using Loctite on the bolt threads.

Real nice piece of chrome super heavy and super shiny, put these on and makes my ride much more comfortable, bought some washers to place under the risers and on top of the Kuryakan triple tree cover, square peg and a round hole don't look good, so the washer helps the appearance. Real easy to install, cable clearance was no problem.

Looks great, allows me to sit more uprite, less reaching. Install was easy, protect your tank with a blanket to prevent scratching. I had to get SS washers to place between the riser and the tripple tree, oem risers recess into the triple tree, new risers are squared and do not fit into a round hole.

Pull Back Risers: Purchased 7/25/09. After my 1,600-mile/33-hour Iron Butt ride last year, and my recent 1,500 mile trip to Wisconsin, I was tired of my muscles between my shoulder blades getting sore & tight. I am hopeful these will do the trick, without requiring much if any modification to the bike.

I learned a few things when installing these on my X. This procedure took to me about 45 minutes, but I am a little over-cautious. I thought I would share my experience. Maybe it will help someone.

Tools I used:
o Motorcycle lift (not absolutely necessary)
o Masking tape
o Two comforters
o Hammer
o Small level
o Small flat-blade screwdriver
o Single-sided razor blade
o 5mm & 6mm allen wrenches
o 19mm open end wrench

Procedure:
- I placed my X on a small lift, and raised it just high enough to make it stand up straight. I personally think it is easier to work on things l...

real nice quality and easy to install with two people. Puts the bars in perfict position, I'm 5'11". I installed a mustang seat that moved me back some so I had to get these risers. Highly recommend.

After them being on back order for three months, and cruiser customizing not knowing when they would come, they are finally on the bike. Now it is snowing so I can't tell you how they ride. The risers them self are nice the fit and finish could be much better. They don't cover the holes from the stock risers, so I bought chrome washers large enough to cover. Make sure you get the new bolts. They put they bars where I wanted them, and all the cables and wires reach fine.

The slotted risers add an awesome detail to the cockpit area. They allow for a more upright riding posture which adds to comfort. Easy to install, but my wife's assistance was extremely valuable. They will likely require some tweaking of cables, not to the point of replacing the stock, but some of the clamps (holding cables) may need to be adjusted.

Look great and went on pretty easily. Even with just the std handle bars these risers have brought the grips closer into a much more comfortable position. Would have been nice to have covers for the hex nuts and maybe a slightly fatter base as they barely cover the marks from the oem risers. But all and all I'm pretty happy and believe them to be good value.
