Installation requires rerouting the handlebar cables in back of the triple tree to allow slack and removing the windshield, but if your somewhat handy this should not be an issue. Just what the doctor ordered. Riding comfort has improved now that I don't have to lean forward when riding. Didn't think 1.5" would make much of a difference, but it did considering the triple tree is pointing aft you get more pull back. I love how the risers look; highly recommended. Fitting time is about twenty minutes if you take it slow and careful. Don't forget to cover your tank and chrome with a blanket, and you will need a good quality ring spanner to tighten the mounting bolts from beneath the triple trees. There is no need to change any cables or hoses, as there is ample slack on the Yamaha. A1 quality and chrome, and they are very weighty units that help dampen out vibes in the bars. When sitting up, you have the feeling of riding a "beach cruiser" type bicycle, still comfortable though. The install on a Vulcan Classic 1500 was fairly straightforward, however the hydraulic lines from the clutch and front brake had to be loosened from some of their brackets in order to accomodate the additional 2.25" rise from stock.
