They are BEEFY!, they weight a ton, very solid feeling, and that makes me happy, my life depends on these things being solid, and that's what they are. The dome caps look wonderful, very happy. Make sure you get the adaptor bolts you need, and once you have checked the bolts to make sure everything fits, use some red loc-tite on the larger diameter thread that goes into the risers (That tip is for metric bikes, that need the adaptor bolts)And blue loctite for the bolt nut from your original bike risers.) ps. Ive done alot of reviews tonight, and I think I've spelt loctite 5 different ways... please ignore the spelling errors :) Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

Tom Kendrick (tommyk124) from Cincinnati, OH, United States, for a 2003 Black 650 V-Star Classic wrote: Look awesome. Fit perfectly with proper mounting bolts. However, you WILL HAVE TO re-route your brake and clutch cables. Or probably the better option replace your cables with stock+2" length. If you don't want to change your cables at all, this is not the right riser for you. The risers themselves install extremely easily. But you have to be prepared for adjusting your lines and cables in some way, either with longer length or rerouting existing. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

Gizmo Man (gizmoman) from Schuylkill Haven, PA, United States, for a 2009 Black Cherry 950 V-Star Tourer wrote: Great addition to my V Star 950. Look great and really create a more comfortable riding position, no more aching shoulders! Using stock cables, the hardest part of install for me was figuring out where to route the cables. Actually switching the risers was made easy by suspending the handlebar from the joists in my carport. One man install took me about 1 hour. I definitely recommend these risers. Will they fit a Boulevard C50
