After installing a Mustang seat with backrest, I needed something to pull my bars back and lift them up. These risers worked perfectly! Easy to install in no more than 10 minutes. Although some have sais they needed longer cables, you DO NOT. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |
(5 stars) reviewed on 05/31/09 byHarley (HarleyB) from Yukon, OK, United States, for a Red Wine Burgundy 1300 VTX1300R (S) Retro wrote: With care you can get the handlebars adjusted pretty close to your riding style without replacing the handlebars, and the cable's not to tight with a little rerouting of the cables. These risers are solid metal and are heavy, good chrome job. You do sit better in the saddle and it helps so you can get you feet on the road pegs. Only thing better is going total custom on your handlebars cables, hoses, etc, and paying thru the nose in the mean time. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

Has reduced the distance between me and the pillion (resting back on the sissy bar) as well. Very pleased. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

(5 stars) reviewed on 12/03/07 by(jharris86) from , , for a 1300 VTX1300R (S) Retro wrote: If you have bought a Mustang seat do your self a favor and buy these risers. I'm between 5'9" and 5'10" and the VTX1300R wasn't as comfortable to ride after the Mustang seat I added as it change the distance I was from the handle bars. These risers make the riding position much better than stock and you can fully enjoy the Mustand seat. The only cable adjustment I had to make was to move the brake cable out of one of the brackets. (1 stars) reviewed on 08/27/07 byPam Underwood (madashell) from Maryville, TN, United States, for a 2005 1300 VTX1300R (S) Retro wrote: This product is dangerous, it almost killed me. I purchased from a Honda dealer. It was a kit that came with the bolts for the VTX 1300 but the inside of the risers stripped out, and my handlebars broke off while I was doing 70 mph, thankfully in a straight away so I could figure out what I was going to do, I would be dead if I was in a curve. Show Chrome does not want to take the blame. Very shitty product. I would advise anyone interested in any riser from this company reconsider if you value your life. You can see the picture of this dangerous product in my images. Review Details 13 out of 14 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

Dealership had them installed in less than an hour. Service Manager told me afterward that when I brought the risers in he could not believe I was stupid enough to install these ugly things on my bike. After they were installed he was amazed at how well they tied in with the overall form on the bike. They now stock these risers in their parts store. Review Details Was this review helpful to you?
