This are very substantial risers. Nice chrome. Look great on the bike, however in order to fit an Aero, the 2 forks under the handlebars have to be cut off with grinder or hacksaw. We also took other customer review recommendations to order the 1.25 x 65 mm bolts instead of the 55 mm ones suggested, and we put locktite on the bolts to ensure they stay tight.

After purchasing the mustang seat for my bike, I was sitting higher up and my posture was more upright. This left my arms straight and downward when gripping the handlebar. I didn't want to go the route of replacing my handlebar and getting longer cables if I didn't have to. This riser raised the handlebar and gave enough pull-back to do the job. Unfortunately, I had to get the longer bolts than what BBP said I needed. Plus I had to reroute the clutch cable since their tension on it when the bike is parked and the wheel turned to the left to lock it.

Had to cut off the OEM handlebar stalks w/my Dremel. That allowed me to continue to use the OEM handlebars, which have as much pull back when all is done as any aftermarket I could buy. Just buy the longer bolts (which I think are meant for the Yamaha). The recommended bolts just barely clear the minimum required length, and it feels like it's barely threaded up into the risers enough. So I have gotten the longer bolts as back up, and added some Loc-Tite (semi-perm) also. They look great, but I've been a little apprehensive at how much play there still is, apparently due to the rubbery gaskets at the triple tree, not the bolts themselves. However, I ALWAYS carry spare bolts, and after the past 5k miles with them still holding, I have relaxed a bit. Next time, I might consider a one-piece bar and riser, so there'd be less movement (only one attachment point), even though they woldn't give ant additional pullback. It'd be alot more work, because of transferring the controls. ...

others mentioned that the bolts that came with this seemed short but held, well mine didn't hold, so I bought longer bolts.but because the threads were already messed up. it didn't take long for the riser to vibrate loose and become non useable. cruiser was cool about replacing them, but I had to send the old ones back first, then wait for the new ones( that were on back order) I ended up buying a new set and cruiser shipd 3day at no cost to me, they said they would credit acount when I sent the bad ones back, cruiser has great customer service ! show chrome was also very helpful. i'm just not thrilled about the ride time I lost.

Look great. easy to install. My handbars give a little when applying force up and down. i am not sure if this is normal, but i believe it is due to the rubber mount surrounding it. That might be why i feel less vibration with them. The adapter bolts were a little on the short side for my bike, but they seem to be holding. REALLY NICE CHROME!.. Looks beautiful on the bike. When you sti down and look at the risers all you see is the "tops" of them, makes it almost look like they are floating on your triple tree.. Must buy.
