Be careful getting the parts out of their protective packaging. There are small plastic clips on both sides of each piece about four inches apart. Carefully "squezze" or "pinch" the moulding at the bottom end first, and slowly work one side of the bottom pair of clips out, then the other side. Move up to the next set of clips and do the same, then the next, then the next, etc. Install in the reverse order. Taking a good look at the new pieces before removing the old ones will help to understand how to go about removal & installation. Take your time and be careful, you'll like the results. They look great on my "Colorado Gold" Pearl Orange 2002 GL1800. It actually took longer to "carefully" remove the shrink wrap that held these items to the Show Chrome cardboard packaging than it did to install on my Wing.
