Yep...it's just a vanity piece...a plastic cover, just like the stock one except with a design on it. And yes, it's definitely overpriced at dang near 100 bucks!!! But hey, if we were all rational penny-pinchers we wouldn't be on here. It is a quality piece of plastic...the design is very detailed and it does not look plastic at all. It looks GREAT!!
