Nice extra touch leaving the black behind. But there is a but! When having the valve open for regular disposal of gas (not reserve) the black handle is laying down at 90 degrees, with this one it is 90 degrees off, which means that the reserve is not completely open when needed to be accessed. The screw that comes along could be longer. Afraid it will fall off due to regular vibrations in the bike.

I love it... nice little touch! Just wish it came with a matching screw instead of having to use my old one...

This item goes with the optional chrome cover I also got. The only thing with this item is that if you use the chrome cover with it, once this knob is tightened down, it is tight against the optional chrome cover, making it very difficult to turn the knob. Probably because during the design of this know, the cover was not taken into consideration during design. However, with a few strokes of a file, I was able to remove just enough material to make it easy to turn the knob. Between the two items, they make for a very nice look.

I was greatly disappointed in this product. I thought it would be made of some metal based material since it is "chromed". It is plastic and looks cheap. By the feel of it, my perception is that it is less durable than the original equipment knob. If I had known this before hand, I would not have purchased it.

I purchased this for the Honda Spirit 750 C2 2008. If you have this bike you will need to carve out one of the inner corners of this knob. The knob fits like a puzzle piece; however, it doesn't match with bike. So I just carved a little out, screwed it in. Looks great, works great.

Had more trouble getting the stock black knob off. Again, plastic chrome but adds a nice touch.

It's a small thing, but using this chrome plated piece to replace the stock black fuel valve just completes the chrome look of the entire engine. Only thing on the install was breaking free the screw on the stock piece (had lock tite on it). Once you're past that just tighten the new hex screw and you're good to go.
