Excellent product. Just as pictured. If there is an easier install I haven't found one yet. Direct replacement for the OEM covers.

I didn't get these, but found some metal ones on the Internet for $79 including shipping. They are well made and fit good, but the chrome does have a bit of a different look compared to the OEM chrome on the bike. I liked the idea of metal vs plastic. I do wish I could have seen these plastic ones in person prior to ordering the metal ones I purchased, but I did not want to pay for the shipping to send them back if I did not like them. These plastic ones may have a better chrome look, however, the ones I bought do have a nice custom look to them (and they are metal, so should last a long time.) The install was very easy - just remove the old ones and take the lock off, put it on the new one and install. Bling, Bling!

These, I liked,,, a lot! When I saw them I knew I'd be chroming those. My only issue with them is that they are plastic (Just like the Stock pair). But in my experience, chromed plastic scratches very easily and for the price advertised I was having trouble with my conscience card so I looked around and found a pair of triple chromed aluminum for 80 bucks. WHAT a difference! And cheaper... Luvin' that! However, either way, you won't be disappointed if you're looking to give your Vulcan some much deserved chrome. It's a large area to chrome out, so you get a decent aesthetic bang for your buck.

Look great. But If I was to buy again I would look for the chromed metal ones. the chromed plastic scratches easy. takes some fidleing to get the tabs lined up when you put them back on - this is the cace moe so on the right side.

I ordered these as soon as I saw them. I always wanted chrome side covers, but I was not happy with the Fire and Steel 's cost, or the fact I would have only one shot at putting them on straight being they are held on with tape. These are great looking covers, and for the price it's a steal. I did have a problem. The first set I got from CC had some scratches in the chrome on the right side, and what looked like coffee stains on the left side. I was not happy with that. Emailed CC and they let me exchange them for a new set. The new set that came was perfect. The install is super easy. For the left side you only need to remove one screw, pull the old cover off, remove the rubber weather strip and put it on the new cover and replace the screw. For the right side, remove the cover. You have to remove the locking device from the old cover and put it on the chrome one. I put the key into the cover and left it in the unlocked position, that made it easier for me to get channel l...
