They add the Retro look to the spotlights.

I Put these on the CW1-01-0086 spotlights.  First forget the instructions that come with the visors, throw them in the trash.  Second the screw that holds the ring on is going to be way too small when the visors are in place.  You have to go to lowes or a hardware store and purchase 2 (6-32 X 1-1/4) stainless steel screws with matching nuts (unfortunatley you can't buy just 2).  Then once the old screws are removed, take pliers and remove the 2 tabs on the visors, (you may have to file down the excess).  Without removing the rings on the spotlight just slide the visors into the bottom of the ring  and slide the visors to the top of the spotlight until centered.  Then replace the old screws with the new ones and tighten snug.  Done, looks great.  I gave 2 stars for ease of installation, because I spent and hour or more on one light trying to get the old screw to hook up, finally figured out needed longer screws.

A real pain in the ass to install, the instructions are very marginal. They look good on the bike, though, adds to the Retro look.

If you want to waste a good portion of your life, try installing these by following the directions. Skip the directions. After the light bar has been mounted on the bike you can get these on by pushing them up under the lip between the chrome and the glass. Get one end started and you can work the rest in. It goes hard but it works. Well worth the effort, makes a huge difference in the looks of the light bar.

These came already pre-installed on the lightbar that I bought used. If you're going to have a lightbar...you're pretty well GOT to have a set of these in my opinion to keep the same look on the VTX.
