It's very nice to have worm hands but imagine on the road taking a curve and the throttled grip breaks off, and makes you loose control of the motorcycle, which could cause serious injuries and even death, this is too much of a risk. If your a handyman, its a simple install. They dont get as hot as I expected and mine arent all that hot when I turn them on all the way, even without any gloves on. Other reviews I have read say they get really hot so not really sure whats going on there. Still, its enough to keep my fingers from hurting in the cold. The grips just don't heat up as much as I thought they would. I was expecting something a little more like what I'm used to on snowmobiles, but these are definately that warm.
