Powerful lights and not too difficult to install. Cut 1/4" off the light mounting post befor installing into the bar. Do not tighten anything up until the lights are powered on or you will have to disassemble to adjust the beams. I have the Hondaline Windshield, which was a real concern. Although I could have installed without modifying the shield I chose to modify it anyway. I put the shield on my miter saw and cut off the bottom piece that runs under the headlamp. Very slick and easy to do. This is a must if you ever want to remove the shield without removing the light bar. A must do! I have read reviews about wiring problems but I did not encounter any. I had to raise the gas tank a little but did not remove any parts, to get the wires hidden underneath. The location of the switch was not the best but functional. I mounted it on the top of my left side cover. Just follow the directions.

I spent Saturday installing this lightbar. Plan on spending several hours getting this installed. The directions are reasonably good, though inaccurate in some odd ways, like getting the size of the socket wrong... minor stuff. I didn't install the turn signals to the lightbar, finding that they would interfere with the placement of my Memphis Shades lowers. Now that its installed, I think I like the turn signals in their original location just fine. As others have said, be sure to use the relay, and wiring harness supplied, these babies pull some wattage, don't overload an existing circuit! Only one real complaint: The wiring harness from the relay to the switch wasn't long enough. I mounted the relay under the left side cover, naturally, I want the switch up on the handlebar for convenience, but the wires aren't anywhere near long enough. I guess they are expecting you to put the switch down under the seat somewhere. I modified the wiring harness so that it w...

Very nice piece of equipment. Heavy duty solid piece of aluminum. My windshield was a little to low to use the supplied coupling nuts so I purchased a few Stainless 1.5" 8m coupling nuts with 1.5" studs. Locktighted them together and presto chango the light fit! I am very happy with the product. The lights are hard to adjust down and are aimed a little high for my liking but my main purpose for these things was to be seen, so mostly they will be used in the daytime. Also use the supplied wiring harness, a few others have bypassed the harness and used the hot wire in the headlight to power the unit, this blows a main fuse and cost 60 clams to replace.

One of the best additions I have added to the vtx. This light is very sturdy and far superior to other lightbars out there. These lights are brighter than my headlight. A great safety addition.

This is not just a piece of metal tubing welded or brazed to a couple of thin steel platforms and then chromed. This is a thick piece of aluminum alloy carefully machined to shape, then polished and chromed. This is a really superior assembly and well worth the additional cost over the competition. It has two sets of spacers to mount the platform to the bolts which hold your headlight to the bottom triple clamp. I recommend leaving the stock headlight mounting nuts in place and using the shorter of the threaded spacers below them on the bolts which mount your headlight to the bottom triple clamp. The shorter spacer will come down even with the bottom of the triple clamp. It makes for a tighter installation. Do use lock-tite or something similar for the threads of these bolts and threaded spacers. The lightbar has three positioning holes to allow you to mount the bar close to the triple clamp, or farther away if you want to mount a windshield. If you use...
