Was a problem to install. Had to cut out shoulder bolt in OEM mount. Also connecting the spring was a bear. UPDATE: This has been on the bike about 3 years now. I am very happy with it still. It has been dragged in turns a couple of times, shows some scrapes in the crome. CROME IS STILL INTACT NO RUST. Very good value for the money. I am upgradeing my rateing of this product to 5 stars. It eliminates the need to put something under it on hot asphalt. It's not the easiest thing to install without a good spring tool but well worth the expense.
