this is one thing that i've got here that i have to completely say that it's not for a roadie....they don't turn up like they should when you don't have anyone riding with them...they work loose...they have a good finish they just don't fit on the bike.....these didn't stay around here too long......this is one item that ya need to spend the extra money and get the passenger floorboards that are intended for them....and they go where they are suppose to and they stay put....and ya backrest will luv ya for them =)

First, does not come with any instructions. After checking to see how easy it is to remove old stock Yamaha passenger pegs, no bid deal. You can then easily figure out the rest of the hardware. I installed both in about 5 minutes. The stock mount uses only a very small cotter pin which I reinstalled with the new boards. These were also designed so that you can also adjust these in any position to accomodate your passenger comfort. Matches the stock boards of Yamaha fairly good. Now I don't have to worry about my girl or son kicking my nice Vance & Hines pipes anymore :^)

Returned it right after putting on bike. You would never want to fold these things up. The bottom is awful and not smooth, flat or polished. When these boards are in riding position they stick out about 6 inches past the widest part on my bike. WEAK SAUCE!

DO NOT GET THESE!!! They didn't even make it through one ride. Went to tighten everything down after putting in loc-tite to make sure they wouldn't spin, and they stripped out. And it was with a TWO INCH allen wrench, not much torque there. These are cast pieces of crap, save your money and get something else. Kuryakyn Iso-Wings are almost the same size, and a much better deal for the same amount of money. DO NOT PURCHASE THESE.

Definitely not intended for a 2001 Ace. The adaptors are way too long and prevent the boards from being swivelled into an upright position. On top of this the ends of the adaptor are much smaller than the mounting brackets on the frame and the mounting hole too small for the standard connecting pin. Had to fabricate my own adaptors to get these to fit properly. Despite this the overall quality of the boards is good and they are a big improvement on the standard pegs.

Good value for money. Only complaint is that the rubber spacer and washer are of very cheap material.

These board certainly look the part. However my Wildstar ( Euro variant of the Roadstar) has rear crash bars fitted. The footboards foul the bars and will not fit until I do some modification to the exisitng foot peg mounting bracket. This will probably result in having to get a couple of pieces of aluminium blocks made up and tapped to accept the footpeg bracket screws. A major pain really as the boards look quite good otherwise
