I had several problems with installing this item. The parts are slightly larger then the opening on the stock brackets and would not go in far enough to pin them. I got new Kuryakyn brackets, then they would only fit one side or the other but not both. That's not a problem though because the parts are identical in function one side to the other. I also added some Dually Pegs that use the stock spring at the peg pivot. The sliding blocks the pegs pin to have a hole in them for the pivot spring. That hole was in the wrong place in one block. It may be I had received the same block for both sides but they need to be different. Fortunately I have a drill press and I drilled a new hole properly located and now have all parts assembled. They look good. But, these brackets move the pegs out as well as down so when you operate the shift and the brake your foot is on the chrome bracket and not on the foot peg. This does however allow for more foot movement latitude.

Makes a huge difference in driver comfort if you have longer legs. The pegs will scrap a lot but you'll get use to that. They do not fit the stock mounting blocks all that well. Just ordered a set of the Show Chrome ones so we'll see if they fit that any better.
