Nice little item, especially when parking in sand here in Florida or the occasional grass. The finish does not hold up that well so it oxidizes out to that dull grey aluminum color that we all know and love. (NOT!) It does come in handy in those hot asphalt parking lots here in Florida where the blazing sub-tropical sun turns the surface of the parking lot to almost a hot oozing tar. The Magna is a heavy mid-sized bike, and it leans quite a bit ... so anything to give a better and more stable surface under the kick stand is a good thing! Much better than the cheap plastic disks or a squashed beer can. UPDATE! After about three years, the metal disc crushed in at the center from the weight of the Magna when I was parked on wet grass. It didn't smash all the way through, just cracked an bent the metal. The bike was leaning over more than it normally does, but was in no real danger of falling on it's side as most of the weight of the bike was still being supported by the crushed ...
