Well, I decided to go for it and deal with any issues when I received it. I'm not sure whether or not the product has been "fixed" in regards to the bolts, but mine went on perfectly. No issue's at all...... I've since modified it so my bags are permanently mounted to the saddle bag supports and are EASILY removed from the "Slider".
