(3 stars) reviewed on 03/07/09 byNobody (jl2193) from , FL, United States, for a 2005 Candy Apple Red 1300 VTX1300C wrote: Just installed the Left side cover. Pretty much fit spot on. The only thing I didn't care for is that the hole in the middle was a little cockeyed - it was over a little to one side not leaving a uniform ring around the inside part. Even though I had plenty of room to add the right side cover I didn't install it yet because I'm putting new pipes on next week and will do it while the pipes are off. I did dry fit the right cover and wasn't impressed with the fit. I'll put some silcone adhesive inside to try to make up for the gaps. The rear part of the cover really sticks away from the existing swing arm even after trying to flatten it out. :( Because the right side isn't really a good fit I'm giving it a 3 on my overall rating and value. I'll update if I remember. Review Details 1 out of 1 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

Finally installed this item, had to pull the Bubs Jug Huggers off to do the right side. It really finishes off the bottom of the engine and frame. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Directions say you need to try and re-shape the part to fit better on your bike...kinda hard to do without cracking the chrome. Not sure why ithe manufacturer can't make it to fit better. I though it was advertised to be a specific fit. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

That left some small looking dents in the chrome. The left side was very easy to install. They look very good. Chrome is always good. Review Details 2 out of 2 members found this review helpful.
