It looks great with chrome risers. I prefer the simple look of this one compared to the stylized look of the one offered by Kuryakyn. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

That being said, it does look much better than the tree by itself. I'd tie the handlebars to a limb or a garage door rail so they are suspended when you remove them. Lay a towel or mechanics cover over the tank in case. Don't forget to undo the wire mounts on the bar. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

(4 stars) reviewed on 04/26/07 byagent_skippy (agent_skippy) from Boise, ID, United States, for a 2005 1300 VTX1300C wrote: A clean looking tree cover. Installation is pretty straight forward and shouldn't take more than a few minutes. Two suggestions: 1. Because it's a cover, it can be a little loose on the tree. Use electricians tape around the inside edge to keep it from rattling as you ride. Don't worry about the top, the installation tape will prevent it from rattling. 2. Loosten or remove the cable guide on the throttle side of the tree before you install. The cover is a little taller than your actual tree and will pinch your front brake line. I simply pulled my line of of the cable guide. Basically, the cables that are routed BEHIND the tree on the throttle side might not have enough clearance. Once it's installed it looks great.
