Got a trailer, you have to secure it and this is as good as any. I like the strong secure feeling to this lock and the rubber cover that keeps the moisture out. I've had to undo it numerous times as I work on the back end and never find any road grim under the cap or in the lock. Works like a charm.

Locks trailer to hitch so no one can cut padlock and ride off with every thing you have on your trip. Cheap insurance for peace of mind. Works when trailer is not hooked to bike also.
