I had to use MODE 2 here in California because MODE 1 was illegal. (Stupid state law) Any who, works and looks great. Really helps to know you're getting the attention of the driver behind you without loosing breaking power! Highly recommend it. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

Nice item to raise awareness to the back end of bike. Update 02/12 Changed this out for the Kuryakyn Triple Whammy. Would have been a very easy install if I had not installed this first. Cost is higher but I would recommend the Triple Whammy. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

(5 stars) reviewed on 02/19/11 byBob (captainbob69) from Aston, PA, US, for a 2008 Pearl White Road Star Dresser 1600/1700 Road Star Silverado wrote: A necessary addition to every bike, this unit is easy to install and makes you more visible to those sleeping behind the wheel. It is compact, and splices right into the brake light circuit. It gives you the option of two different flash patterns, as well as an emergency flasher function. The safety experts recommend flashing you brake lights when slowing or stopping; this does it for you! I use the mode that keeps the lights flashing, so if I am stopped at a traffic light, approaching traffic will hopefully notice me. It is a must-have for everyone riding a cycle. I run two of these on the two light bars on my Tour-Pak, making the bike very visible (see the video on my profile). I am very satisfied, would not ride without one, and highly recommend it. (4 stars) reviewed on 01/30/11 by(hidetooler) from , IN, United States, for a 0 1100 Shadow VT1100C wrote: The module is compact and the connection schematics are adequate. I opted for Mode 2.- 5 quick flashes then steady "on" to minimize any motorist irritation if stopped at an intersection. Installation is straight forward and basically simple. The longest time necessary was locating the brake lamp wire in the wiring harness under the seat. I used crimped bullet connectors for easy "plug and play" Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |
