Those with no electrical knowledge may have a little more difficulty installing this. But thats not to say a novice cant do it. If your a do it yourselfer like me, definitely find the wiring diagram for your bike. This helps a ton, as long as you know how to read it. It doesn't take long to learn the generals of a schematic. Trust me it will be well worth it to you. It will save you many mistakenly cut wires. I use mine on mode one and it works great. Only complaint is that if I wanted to use mode two I would have to resplice. I wish there were a dip switch to toggle between the two modes. i may try and wire one in just to have the ability to go from one mode to the other.
