It has the desired effect I was looking for in that it flashes warning the person behind me, warning them I am stopping. It seems all VTXs (1300 & 1800) use the green wire w/ a yellow stripe for the brake light. The green wire right next to it is your ground. The wires on the 1300 can be found underneath the left side cover inside a rubber boot like cover. Specifically I use Hyper-Lites for additional LED brake lighting and Kriss Panther Series Run/Brakelight conversion for rear turn signals. When I hit the brakes EVERYBODY knows and have yet to have a car run up from behind after installation. The BackOFF is a great value for the cost but suggest using it w/ other modules also.
