Requires major surgery and/or removal of plastic trunk parts to get at right, left trunk brake wires. Definitely not plug and play on the Goldwing, don't bother unless you have lots of time and patience… great for other cruisers with easy access to all wiring. I'm going with BackOff SD-1004, controls all 4 brake lights with one splice under seat. Review Details 1 out of 1 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

It will only light up to 2 bulbs because of the power draw. The 1800 has 2 bulbs for braking behind each of the 4 red lenses. It is not a easy install on a 1800 as I have found out. You can easily tell which wire by using a voltmeter and applying the brake to determine what gets power when you do that. Works as advertised.
