(4 stars) reviewed on 05/02/09 byArt (lavfam) from Jacksonville, FL, United States, for a 2000 1100 Shadow Sabre wrote: Great product to assist others in seeing you when braking. It was very easy to install once I located a wiring diagram online pointing out which was the brake wire (green w/ yellow stripe for my bike). Easy as cutting one wire, soldering the box in between, and grounding it. I mounted it under my seat on the fender. Worked great during the daylight as I had my wife follow behind me to see if she could tell the difference. Can't wait to try it out at night. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

Definitly feel more visible which is the whole point of the install to begin with. Review Details 1 out of 1 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

I will install the emergency flasher feature at a later date. That feature runs right off the battery so the key does not have to be on If you have any LED's get the XP version and you wont need to buy a load resitor Review Details Was this review helpful to you? For installation, I found where the brake wires connected together via bullet connectors on my wiring harness and I crimped on the same style connectors onto the Backoff and then just plugged it inline. I did this so I wouldn't have to hack up my wiring and makes it easy if I want to remove it and put it onto a later bike. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

All wiring can be done right there under the seat. Just be careful when splicing into all those tightly-spaced wires. Really gets peoples' attention - worth every penny to be seen a lot easlier. Plus, light flash which is cool. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |
