Mounted to Saddlemen Cruser Saddlebags. Nice and bright. Used trailer multi pin connector to connect to power source. That way I can remove bags if needed then just plug lights back in. That said it depends on how you install it and the way you connect it to your system. I drilled a couple of holes and bolted the bar to the sides of my luggage rack. Behind the luggage rack / sissy bar attach points I drilled a hole through the fender for the wiring. I wired it into the turn signal system and running lights. In this position it adds nice visibility up high and to the side of bike for lane changes as well as general rear lighting. In order to add this item to my bike along with the Quad LED license frame it took me three times to do it and about 3 weeks of evenings. I had twenty seven splice connectors and a roll of electrical tape. I had to remove everything from behind the tank back - seat, passenger seat, saddlebags, luggage rack, sissy bar, fender.
