okay

The speedway shelter frame is made well.  It is sturdy and will support heavy winds. Water collects at the top of the shelter.  If it is not removed, the shelter will begin to leak.  After about 15 months the shelters frabric thined out and began to tear in a few areas.

Speed-Way Shelters guarantees their Shelters are waterproof. There are thousands of Speed-Way Shelters sold all over the world in the most severe climates. Please check out their web site and look at the testimonies for satisfied customers that have experienced the strongest storms and driest / hottest sun exposure. The fabric used on Speed-way Shelters is the finest available and all seams are welded (Taped) to assure no leaking. This is process is required to use the term “waterproof”. Bottom line…if there is any leaking with a Speed-Way Shelter cover, Speed-Way Shelters will replace it as part of their warranty.

It is very good for protecting the bike from the dust but it is not a 100% water proof. We have been having heavy rain here in Sydney and pools of water collect at the top and eventually start leaking. I just bought a vinyl sheet to fix it on top of it with Velcro to make it water proof, which has cost me an extra $60 and will make it look a bit silly. But function before looks I guess.

i just got it put together and have been using it for about a week now. this is another product i'm lovin a lot. we have not had a real heavy rain yet, just some down pours here and there. so far it works really well. convenience of it is out of this world more than my old bike cover. i washed and waxed my bike last week and it still looks beautiful. lovin it!
