Passengers enjoy them, and when I want to stretch my quads on long rides, I can hook my heels over them from the front seat. Very good. The only flaw is the quality of the bolts used to attach the rubber pads to the aluminium. I got my set powder-coated black to match my bike, and since the bolts are chromed (rather than being polished stainless), the allen wrench cracked the chrome inside each bolt head when I tightened them back up, and they have all rusted inside the socket. Easily fixed with a new set of stainless steel bolts, but still... This would not be a problem for you if you never undid and redid those bolts, which I suspect would be the majority of people since you never really have to remove the rubber insert unless you wanted to paint the floorboards. I got the older style that has the center aluminum. It isnt clear coated and can be polished to look good, I then covered the back with some black stair gripper tape and it looks good.
