Not big and bulky, just what I was looking for to hang cruising pegs from. Install was not so good, as I had to tweak them a bit to get my bolts all tightened down.

Easy install, look great. I didn't want big engine guards these are small enough to look good. The only drawback has been it's been hard to find highway pegs that clear the stock foot controls.

Looks nice, adds a nice touch to the front end. I don't expect alot of protection from these as they are very small.

A little smaller than I expected, but they look good. I'm not sure they'll do any "guarding" of the engine or anything else but should be good for highway pegs. It helps to have an extra set of hands while installing them.

Not as big as most engine guards, definitely not as wide. Look great, but not wide enough to attach highway pegs. Took some physical effort to install them. Hard to line up bolt holes. I installed them myself, but would have been a lot easier with two people. I bought them used, from an individual.

I don't know about engine "guards". They are a little small to really protect anything, however they were exactly what I wanted. a simple looking bar to mount my cruiser pegs on.
