Any age on these, even if still in the package, and the adhesive isn't as good. You'll wind up adding more glue to these or you'll lose them on the road. (5 stars) reviewed on 07/23/07 byBill (SilveradoNY) from Western New York, NY, United States, for a 2005 1100 V-Star Silverado wrote: More Chrome, more bling. Got a good price for these on ebay, nib. For some odd reason the bottom pieces would not hold. I cleaned the surface area very well & used an alcohol bath also. I ended up peeling off the two sided tape that was on the item & adding two sided emblem tape. Thet stuck very well after that. Nice chrome contrast against the black frame & a whole lot cheaper that some other options that include a chrome unit over the entire piece. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

In such a inconspicuous place that you may find your money better spent on other accessories, but does add more chrome. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

Got it free as part of chrome bonus Yamaha had on when I bought the bike. Not sure I'd buy these myself....they wouldn't be on the top of my list anyway. So opted to try these. Easy to install except for the lower right behind the pipes. Not so sure how well they will stay, but since a breeze to stick on and not too pricey, worth the try. Looks nice and doesn't go overboard at all. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |
