(5 stars) reviewed on 01/09/13 bySteve Metzger (SAMetzger) from Walker, LA, for a 2005 Midnight Black 1600/1700 Road Star Silverado wrote: Got a new set to replace the old ones (one of which got smashed up in a recent lay down). This item is for the 2 lights only; doesn't include the mounting bar or turning lights shown in the item photo. Setting the tilt angle of these lights isn't the best but it can be done somewhat because of the concave washers on the mount. Very bright, good for fog, rain, etc. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

These are really tough to do without breaking your turn signals - here is the problem: When the dealer installs your turn signals - he/she is going to torque down the nuts that hold them on to the stock turn signal bar and make them "out of round". The issue here is that in order to assemble the passing lamp / turn signal portion of the setup the hole needs to be as round as possible and when you try to spread the turn signal mount open, the cheesy metal that it is made of will start cracking. I had to use a combination of spreading the clamp on the turn signal while at the same time squashing it with a giant pair of channel locks with garden hose on the jaws to keep from muckin' things up.
