Perhaps a little flimsy, but they fit the lines of the bike well. I didn't like the idea of maintaining leather, though. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

Greg/Ferryman (GregMole) from Ipswich, , AU, for a 2009 Black 1900 Roadliner wrote: Really have mixed feelings about these bags. I love they way they look and suit my Roadliner BUT I am a bit disappointed in the quality - no way that I can see that they will be waterproof, the lid is sloppy - I am going to have to relocate the inner part of the lock to keep a little tension on the lid. They are going to leak, there is no drain hole so they will slowly fill with water. They are much smaller than they look, large items simply won't fit as they are quite narrow, heaps of tiny little areas that can be packed with smaller items though. The bags need to be unpacked before they can be taken off the bike - otherwise you can't access the locking clips - I had expected that they would simply clip off and carried away full. Likewise, you can only attach an empty bag to they bike - and the dicky little clips are difficult to work until you get the hang of it. Installed by dealer at bike purchase. Conclusion is that they look great, but don't work so great at all. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

However, if you don't keep your bike in a covered garage (at home and work) they will rot within a year. The locking mechanisms are cheap plastic and break at least once a riding season. They cost about $90 a lock to replace. I am looking for some high quality large capacity hard bags. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |
