It is very simple to install, makes handling very easy with less strain on arms, puts arms and hands in a more natural position.

I Think these are what was called the "Star Bar" a while back before Yamaha had them. If so, they are a great bar. Takes the cramp out of the shoulder/neck area. They also give more leverage for easier stearing. The look is much better and flows with the tank design. Well worth the price. I casted 3" lead weights and silconed them inside the ends to detune the bars vibration like stock but better. I can see through the mirrors for miles.

Great addition for arm comfort. Installed these bars with the Aeromach pull back risers which place the bars further back and slightly higher for a better riding position.

These looked wider on my Aero 1100, not the same look. Will go to apehangers soon.

These bars make a significant difference in feel over the stock bars, bike handles so much easier requiring less effort, no fatique due to stretching. This was a good purchase.

I needed these not only because they looked better but because with my aftermarket seat I found myself sitting back further and straining to reach the stock bars,.. these did the trick,... came back just that bit further to be comfortable for my reach, I like the lower height too. Installation was a pain though, for some reason they make these about .4 mm thicker in diameter (must be the inch vs the metric inch syndrome) so all the mounts that pinch down on the bars need to be opened up that little bit, no real problem though. ....They feel great.

Just bought the Star bars from Hellrisercustoms.com. I just put the bars on today (2/18/2002). Took me about an hour and it was my first time changing handlebars. I have not yet gone on a long ride. They will take a little getting use to because they are wider and closer to your body. Puts me in a more upright seated position.
