Definitely recomend the lamps that match the headlamp. I got them and they look great with the the headlamp. Comes with all the wire and connections you need. They even have a toggle switch built into the lamp casing. It is discrete if you put that lamp on the correct side so that the switch is on the inside facing the headlamp

While the lights are very nice, light up the road as they should, and fit with the styling of the VStar 1100 Classic, they are a PAIN to adjust, as mentioned elsewhere. You need at least 4 hands to adjust, 2 to hold the 2 wrneches and 2 to hold the driving light and the turnsignal, so that all end up pointing in the direction you want. I would recommend the mount, as it fits very nicely, but look for another style of lights that allow for adjusting while the bulb is in the housing and can be turned operating at the same time. Something more like most automotive light mounts, with a U-shaped bracket that the light housing then bolts to. If it wasn't for the difficulty adjusting the lights after mounting them, I would rate these 5 stars.

Look very nice. I meant to order the Halogen lights, but got sealed beam by mistake. Should be OK, but Halogen would be brighter. The on/off switch is located on the back of one of the light housings and is very close to the windshield - maybe too close. It took me a couple of attempts to get the housing set properly, and the lights aimed correctly. Once I got it right, everything fits nicely, and works well. The switch ended up about 1/4 inch from the windshield. Also, it is a pain to adjust the aim of the light. You have to remove the cover and the bulb, then you can loosen the bolt to move the housing to aim the light. Then reassemble, and hope you got it right. Not a very good design.

Very nice. Love the classic look... pain to get straight, though, I recommend letting a dealer install them onto the bar.

Lights look good. Definitely help light up the road and also make it easier to see me in the daylight. I like the toggle switch on the left lamp so you can turn them off if you want to run with just the headlight.

My actual lights are similiar but I have the Yamaha Tri Bar Lamps because they match the headlight better. Only problem with these is where the hollow mounting bolt goes through. You may have to clean the edges with a Dremel Tool or file to make them fully seat into the hole.

I had these installed at bikes purchase. After 4 1/2 years they're still work for me. I had only one incident of wire shorting to switch inside mounts after 2 years but dealership corrected problem during routine maintenance.

I had the dealer install these. I like the look better than the single headlight, but I don't like the fact that they stick out in front of the headlight a little. I ride with them on at all times and they do seem to provide more light at night. I have had no problems with water or rust yet and I do get caught in the rain from time to time.
