The windshield came with the bike. It has decent protection, but not the best. I still feel air hitting me more than I anticipated. I wear a 3/4 helmet with a snap-on face shield and the air comes up and under the face shield a little. I like the hight of the windshield; I look over the top rather than through it. I would like the windhield to be angled up another 10 deg or so, however, this may cause the wind to go over top a little better.

Awesome windshield with nice chrome accent. Take care to clean it correctly though. Had the dealer install it in the "lower" position, which hits me between my nose and eyes; just right so I can peek over the top under certain conditions. Took it back once to have them add some spacers to remove some vibration against the headlight. I like the look without the windshield, but prefer having it a hundred times over.

After purchasing, I thought it would be too difficult to install, but it was a snap. Makes a huge difference in riding experience, compared with when I rode without a windshield. I have the "tall" windshield but installed in on the lower setting.

If you can follow directions installation is a snap with normal tools (allen wrenches and box end wrenches). It is a great looking item and makes the ride a lot less tiring, especially at 65-70 mph, and I still get enough air to keep cool. I can't think of anything negative about it! And for those who think gas mileage will suffer, mine got better! You are more of a parachute than the windshield.

I bought the tall winshield, only to find out it was too tall after I lowered my bike 3 1/2". I found instructions online to cut the shield down to a custom height and Voila!, great fit now!
