The emblem in not flat, so the adhesive does not make full contact. To my surprise, it is still on the bike even though it has been in extreme heat and been rained on a few times. So far so good. I'm glad I did, no regrets now as it looks great in the back of the sissy bar plate. Despite its size, very visible for people riding behind. Cool factor. Make sure u gauge & measure exactly where u want to stick it cause the adhesive is strong, as mine is a fraction off. I had to fill the void with some double sided carpet tape and then used a silicone sealant on the edges. it is stuck on the backrest pretty well now and I like the way it looks.
