Since I did not want to alter the lines of my bike with an accessory rack, I searched awhile before I found this bag. It fit more than enough clothes and accessories for a 4 day trip. Probably enough for a 7-10 day assuming laundry facitilites would be available along the way. The fact that the weather was unpredictable with lows in the 30's at night, I was able to include a few fleeces along with warmer weather items as well. The whole unit sat very secure on the backrest, though I did balance it for this ride on the passenger seat. I have used it with a friend for weekend rides with it positioned on the back and over the fender. Review Details 3 out of 3 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? You can fit enough clothes in there for two and mount reversed on the cargo rack, or you can pack for one and use it as a backrest when riding. I've recently installed a backrest for me, so the need as a backrest is minimized now. The ability to expand with only the pull of a zipper almost adds 30% more storage. I've taken week long trips with it and it sits low enough to prevent sailing with the crosswinds on bridges. Easy to install and remove as luggage. Not sure what I paid because I've had it for two years now. One of the best purchases I ever made to travel with. This style is slightly different but functions in the same way. The roll bag on the top was included when I purchased the bag. Review Details 3 out of 3 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |
