I ordered the Linbar from CruiserCustomizing on Thursday morning early sometime after midnight and the box was on my porch on Saturday by noon. I had to leave so it was Sunday before I opened the box and it was just as stated and looked great so back in the box it went until Monday morning when I put it on my orange pearl VTX in less than 10 minutes after getting my tools ready. It looks incredible! The position of the foot rests aren't perfect for me at 6 ft. tall but [read more]I think just using them occasionally will relieve knee and hip pressure when needed and I am already thinking about additional foot pegs in the future for more adjustability. I love the look and the peace of mind it has given me, that if it does turn over my beautiful orange tank will remain beautiful. Great addition and I would do it again in a heart beat. With the use of a coupon it cost me $299.24 before shipping, cheapest I found online and quick shipping, I'll be using CruiserCustomizing from now on. [read more] GO ON!! (Englissh) [^] |
What do I like about CC? Well the list is "THE NEVER ENDING STORY". I think Uwe has taken his Germanic way of business and made it work in the USA and he found a team that seems to pull in the same direction. The European way with their customers is that you're a name and not a number, and they use the personal touch with their holiday greetings and meeting CCC members Europe, next in Australia, it gives that big difference between a money making machine and a family growing bigger and bigger. Of course they are making money as they go, but giving back also. The community, for which people from all walks of life can get together and have some fun, bring people together so that they can get advice from a like minded rider. It's nice to see who you are chatting with and find out about other countries and ways of life, without CC how many would be friends like they are today? I have had TREMENDOUS mails and contacts from some SUPER PEOPLE who without CC and their way of business I might never have had the chance to have made contact with. AND I CAN GO ON!! (Englissh) |
| CC is my first choice for parts even though I am in Australia and it takes 3 weeks to get my bits. The site is so user friendly and so easy to order, also one of the widest range of products. Along with that comes the community which is awesome. I am on the site every day checking up on how my fellow friends that I have made are getting along and what they have been adding to their bikes and what trips they have been on. Its just a great place, a home away from home. (lucky57) |
I have always received top notch service and advice. Of course the fact that we are in the same state means that my shipping is extremely fast, but then that is offset by the fact that I have to pay sales tax! :) My last order you guys even had the best price around, and because it was so expensive the shipping was free! How can you beat that?! CC carries a great assortment of products from many different vendors and is always striving to come up with better pricing on parts as well as shipping! The investigation into shipping charges to Australia did not go unnoticed by some of us living in the USA either! I think that was the right thing to do! I like the fact the the staff are riders, not just some joker with a parts warehouse! The most honest thing I ever heard came from one of the sales assistants when I asked about a set of pipes. She said "I don't know, I've never heard those particular pipes" and suggested I call V&H and even provided the phone number to do so. She did not attempt to lie about it or make a hard sale. As a result, after doing my homework, I bought them from CC! I love the CCCommunity! There's a great mix of people who are like a distant family. Yeah, sometimes we fight like family, but if someone gets hurt or has a problem, you see a groundswell of support and not a nasty word from anyone! I've got nothing but praise for the staff of CC for the kind of business they run and their dedication and enthusiasm for motorcycling throughout the world! (mjbearit) |
For me CC is more like a family than a business. As
with any family there are problems, but if the family works together
those problems are fixed. My experience with CC has always been
positive. Ride on. (Robin001) |
The company has great products at usually great prices. The tech knowledge is excellent and the product knowledge is excellent. The promotions are excellent and the thing I have noticed is the preparedness to know your market. You do Aussie specific promos so I assume you do European specific promos and English etc. The CCC I love because of the people (well some of them) the fun the frivolity and the seriousness as well. Someone asks for help, they get it. Someone is in need it's solved. Someone has a story to tell, it's heard. Someone want to whine, they are heard. Someone wants a belly laugh they will find it here. Someone wants a cry, they can do it here. I have made some real friends here and some strong acquaintances, I will hold them dear forever. (philcole) |
CC, IS truly a company run by people who love to
ride, NOT people who worry only about the dollar. They seem like family
to each other, and to those who join in. it seems the
experience comes first, and then let the money come in from return
visits and word of mouth. I have had assistance From Karma and up
to Uwe. Great people with great intentions. Now that Kyle????? What can
you say about Kyle........ Seems like a fine fellow :) (copperguy) |

CC is made up of people who enjoy the same
thing,"MOTORCYCLES AND RIDING MOTORCYCLES". There are a lot of good
people on this site, everyone is always ready to help another member at
any time and for any reason. Kinda wish we all lived closer together
because we could ride together. Just think what a motorcycle club we'd
have. We'd have someone from just about every walk of life, that's cool,
just think of the times we would have. My hat is off to CC and all the
members that make it what it is today, "ONE HELL OF A SITE FOR BIKERS".
My wife calls us motorcycle people, kinda cute aye. ENJOY EVERYBODY,
LETS RIDE...OLD GUYS RULE... (oleyella) |

CCC is an incredibly large part of my life, its one
of the first things I do in the morning and the last thing I do in the
evening. Check up on my brothers and sisters, make sure they
are all ok, see who has been up to what. its a place you can step
outside your own character, a place where we can talk, meet and just
compare notes with other bikers. I live in a small town, only 2400
population, no traffic lights but on a major highway, a lot of bikes in
my town but no organized riding group unfortunately, I have tried. So my
riding group is here CCC. CC is a rider based company providing parts,
info and support for riders by riders, not somebody who has never
been on a bike and has a biased view towards bikers. I take my helmet
off to you guys and gals, keep up the outstanding work you are doing,
keep the ideas coming, the parts, the friendship and comradery, after
all we are in this together...Len...(Cruizon) |
I came across Cruiser Customizing shortly after purchasing my first motorcycle in the fall of 2008. I was of course eager to start customizing but had many questions. I found very quickly that the staff at CC was more than happy to discuss any issue I had. Did they need to speak to me? NO, but they did and have continued to do so...for that, I am a CC marketing voice here in the mid-west. When it comes to sales, most errors can EASILY be repaired by the customer service you receive. I have placed my fair share of orders with CC and have occasionally received products I wasn't satisfied with. Any issue I have ever had was corrected immediately and I have always felt they were genuine in wanting to get it right. I know CC has thousands of customers, but they always make me feel #1. I don't want to leave anyone out but a few names deserve praise for their direct service to me: Kyle, Anthony, Alex, Des and of course Uwe. Thanks!!! Over the last couple years, the CC community has become a real part of my life. Real friends have been made and not a day goes by without logging onto the site AT LEAST once to catch up with friends or to see what new products are available. I feel fortunate to have found Cruiser Customizing at the time of my life when I did. Thanks for the GREAT SERVICE you ALL provide!!! (moreland4) |
From my perspective Cruiser Customizing is a leader
in its field. I cannot say if it is one of the more successful bike
part retailers financially speaking, but I can say that if it
is not now, it will be in the future. Why? Quite simply you offer the
best services available, period. The site has an easy to use, bike
specific software program, Product selection is wide
and competitively priced with detailed information and supported
with numerous customer ratings. Customer service is taken seriously,
this combined with the information available makes most purchases risk
free! I know your names, Karma, Anthony, Uwe, Kyle, and Josh are a few
that I've had the pleasure to deal with, and I do mean a pleasure. It is
a shared passion and as a customer I've been looked after in a
handshake fashion that brings back an honor usually reserved for times
past. What keeps it all happening is the members site. The shared
stories, friendships, and laughs are only limited by your involvement.
All in all, ya done good! (ocanada) |
I came across your site after buying our first
bikes back in 07 and I bought our first new add ons from your site and
have been hooked ever since, bought several things, then we bought 2
more bikes, of course had to add on to those then my VTX and his Trike,
of course couldn't stop adding on got hooked on the chrome in O7. Have
had some issues but not many, I could of been buying from Honda
Dealership here close to home but they've certainly taken us for a ride
and it's not been a fun one. So I would rather buy from your
site than from them even though I might have to wait a little
longer! (ruthiebaugus) |
Cruiser Customizing made it so easy to actually see
what I was interested in and then read the comments on the products by
other members and owners, how good the part was or wasn't. Took me
a little while to become a member and start participating in some of
the discussions. I am a bit reserved when it comes to those
things. But, over all, it seemed like a good place to shop
for parts at a reasonable price, discuss issues with bikes, parts and
all sorts of things, and best of all, make friends and talk to people I
would have never met or heard of any other way! This site offers a
camaraderie like no other part of my life. I enjoy it
immensely. Just like many others, I check on the site frequently
for discussions, people with bike problems that I may be able to help
with, or better yet, I may be able to learn something from the others
(Thanks MJ and Scruffy), or just have a good laugh at a joke or
story. And the videos of people, everyday people like me/us,
taking a ride in their home town or turf and sharing that ride with the
rest of us. Just fantastic and I really look forward to
those. In closing, I have had no problem with orders from CC,
ever! (freebear) |
MALCOM'S RAZOR! With all things being equal, the
simplest answer is correct. Therefore CRUISER CUSTOMIZING is the
best because of THIER AWESOME STAFF, for without them it would be
nothing. (cliftonking) |
I registered on this site by advise of a friend of mine Igor aka kpetz.
For me as a new person in biking and with no specific technical
education the site has many helpful things: discussions on some tech
issues with fellows who are in biking and customizing for some time
already, CC tips, products range, sometimes prices, customers comments
on products. What is very important and good is this site connects and
consolidates some considerable number of people addicted to something
common. Making friends in the web you actually make new friends in life.
(LuckyLuke) |
It is the best site for buying parts that I have
found. Not only can you buy things here, you can connect with others
that love the same thing that you do, bikes!!!!. The blogs , pics,
tech info, and of course the people. I have been here a little over two
years now and have enjoyed CC the whole time. Thanks for all you all do
here. tracy (roadwolf55) |
