I have ridden in several rain showers/storms in the central Florida stormy season. I bought the yellow jacket because of the better visibility that I like to have in the rain. The jacket is comfortable, although it does get a little hot while riding between rain cells when the sun comes out. I think the sizes run large; I bought a small jacket and medium pants (5'8", 165 lb). The built-in storage pocket is very handy. I might buy it again.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- October 2012 update: Well we are nearing record rainfall in central FL this summer. I have probably worn the rain jacket a dozen times, and 3-4 times have been in frog strangling down pours. The under arm vents leak in heavy rain. Of course it's better than no jacket at all, but you still get wet. The zipper on the storage pocket seized and I had to rip the st... Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

Lots of pockets for those things you don't want to leave buried under your gear. All pockets were water tight. Light weight, easy to roll up and store. Haven't used the hood yet, but I love the idea as no one likes those rogue drops of water that fall down the back of your neck. I wish that they manufactured "Tall" sizes but no one seems to. So, having to account for my long arms I had to buy a size bigger which makes it a little baggy but doesn't seem to flap too much in the wind. I'm probably going to buy the pants next, as I'm so enthusiastic about the quality of the jacket. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

When riding in heavy rain and on the highway at highway speeds there is considerable rain water seeping through the front zipper, and the seams along the arms. Ultimately its the same scenario with the pants, and there winds up being more than an acceptable amount of rain seeping in around the crotch of the pants. Something I really do like about this jacket is the hood that is built into the collar which fits well and keeps the rain from trickling down your neck and back. In the end, it is an "Ok" suit. I wear it from time to time in cold weather and find it does a better job of keeping me warm in the cold than it does keeping me dry in the rain. I would look elsewhere for a rain suit if you're going to be riding it in heavy rain, as there are less expensive suits that are more rubber and seamless. If I had... It is also warm. The fit is a bit smaller than I would have liked since I can't put another jacket underneath. Overall good quality and I would recommend it.
