Vance & Hines Big Shots Rock! They are quite user friendly with respect to installation and sound great. I'm sure almost anybody could install this system in just a couple hours. There is a significant difference going from OEM exhaust to the Big shots, but that's the goal, right? I had a very slight wrinkle in one of the heat shields but Vance & Hines was right on the bit and replaced it without hesitation. Another awesome company to deal with.

These pipes came with the bike, but I had a chance to hear them vs stock pipes on another VTX1800 that was parked right beside my bike. The stock pipes sound good, but these are MUCH better. Only gripe is that the heat shield hits the mount for the floorboard. Need to grind a little off the mount.

Love them! Sound great and the instal was pretty smooth. The only hitch was that the heat shield touched the running board mount when they got warm Easy fix: ground out a bit off the mount.

These pipes are awesome!! Love the sound, nice deep rumble. No tuning adjustments made or apparently necessary. Absolutely make sure to leave the heatshields loose when installing into heads. And one of the four rear bracket bolts needs to go in before bracket is tightened to frame or you will never get it in. Don't forget the crush gaskets. Recommend highly.

Sound good and installation wasn't too hard. Might help if you have a second pair of hands when you go to set them on the bike but I did it myself and it just takes some patience. Not the Harley sound if that is what you are after, but a nice deep throaty sound that blows away the stock Honda sound. I revved it up beside a buddys Harley 1300 and I like the sound of mine better. ONE WORD OF CAUTION - these DO NOT come with new crush gaskets. Order them from the website, they are like $16. I didn't know that and had to run to the Honda dealer for some and paid $24.

Too loud. Reduced performance of the stock pipes. I did a K&N intake and Power Commander and Dyno tune with PC link and it sucks on my 1800. The sound is great but I miss my stock pipes.

Pipes Sound Great & Look Good On The Bike. When I Bought The Bike I Had Dealer Install, So I Do Not Know How Hard They Are To Install. They Do Sound Better Than Stock Pipes.

these pipes are great, should come standard from factory. little troublesome to install but no big deal, came with quiet baffles contrary as to what i was told by V&H , very pleasing sound at road speed 60 to 80 mph, if you want loud just twist on throttle and can wake up most any one close. like them enough that we bought set for friends vtx1300 , sound even better on that .

THEY SOUND GREAT! Put them on by myself, didn't get any instructions and that made it a lot of fun, but got them on with a little help from the little women right at the end (small fingers). Fired the bike up and wow, finally have a bike that sounds as tough as it looks!

Put these on my VTX 1800 Tourer a couple weeks ago and they have given my bike a great sound. Not overly loud but a nice rumble at cruising speed that leaves no doubt your nearby and sound really nice when you twist the thottle hard. Install is better done by two people and it does take a little work to get it lined up just right but not too difficult and the results are well worth the effort!
