Pipes Sound Great & Look Good On The Bike. When I Bought The Bike I Had Dealer Install, So I Do Not Know How Hard They Are To Install. They Do Sound Better Than Stock Pipes.

THEY SOUND GREAT! Put them on by myself, didn't get any instructions and that made it a lot of fun, but got them on with a little help from the little women right at the end (small fingers). Fired the bike up and wow, finally have a bike that sounds as tough as it looks!

awesome sound. exactly what the doctor ordered to increase public awareness and decrease accidents. took alot of work to get on, and the end result once worn in is not quite parallel pipes....kinda point toward eachother at the tips...just enough to be slightly noticeable.. if you have the bike mapped, you'll need to take the baffles out in order to get the sniffer up close to the head...

These pipes look and sound great. They give that loud low pitched rumble I was looking for after I removed the baffles. You need a second set of hands to install. At first when we put the pipes up to the jugs I double checked to make sure they were the right pipes for my bike because they seemed way off. Once we got them at the right angle they slipped in though. The whole removal and installation process only took about a hour.

I installed the V&H Big Shots on my 2005 VTX1800N. Wow what a sound and increase in performance. I also had installed a K&N air filter so I had to get a controller to adjust the fuel flow on the injectors. Wow, I could not believe the increase in power and all said it did not change my fuel consumption (MPG) at all.

Much nicer then the OEM style that Honda put on the bike. Sound great and are easy to maintain. Look very good with a big big by adding the custom look without the expensive cost of true custom bent pipes.

Always a good product. Don't follow the instructions though. Never tighten the clamps on the heat shield until after you mount on the header. I learned that lession the hard way. Sounds good, but ordered the quiet baffles.

Way loader than the stock exhaust, which is what I wanted. Almost too load with the Quiet Baffles if you don't want to bother your neighbors. Wearing ear plugs is a must, especially if you have a half helmet. Like the quality, the instructions could be better written. The heat shield expands and touches the floorboard when hot. Add a couple of stainless washers on the floorboard mounting bolts to correct. Don't forget to buy new crush gaskets for the manifold too.

Easy install, looks great! Use new gaskets though. Super meaty, throaty sound, beats the sewing machine whine of Honda VTX1800 OEM pipes. What were they thinking?
