They give that loud low pitched rumble I was looking for after I removed the baffles. You need a second set of hands to install. At first when we put the pipes up to the jugs I double checked to make sure they were the right pipes for my bike because they seemed way off. Wow what a sound and increase in performance. I also had installed a K&N air filter so I had to get a controller to adjust the fuel flow on the injectors. Almost too load with the Quiet Baffles if you don't want to bother your neighbors. Wearing ear plugs is a must, especially if you have a half helmet. Like the quality, the instructions could be better written. The heat shield expands and touches the floorboard when hot. Add a couple of stainless washers on the floorboard mounting bolts to correct.
