This pipes are awesome, sound is an instant plus and the look they add to the bike is pure classic. Only con. about them, was during installation i had to cut the upper left head pipe that was supplied by V&H in order to get the tip mounted correctly. But all and all worth the price and installing issues. Well done Vance & Hines.

Great sounding exhaust. The top pipes were designed too small out of the factory so it is very difficult to slide the head pipes into the mufflers. I had to dremel out the inside of the exhaust and pound them together. Installation instructions are fairly easy to understand. Exhaust sounds great, goes along with the bike really well.

Well, I bit the bullet and sprang for the cost (and it was a very EXPESIVE cost even though I got a “deal”) … and SWEET JESUS what a difference in sound and performance! When those four big cylinders on the Magna start pounding away it sounds EXACTLY like a small block Chevy engine screaming down the highway! The chrome is absolutely superb and in my opinion no other brand or make after-market pipes can even hold a candle up to the deepness and durability of it! Because they are “flow through” exhausts, the back pressure in the exhaust has been eliminated and in my own limited trials out of them without having it placed on a meter, I can absolutely see between a 10 to 15% improvement in power. The acceleration is “snappier”, and there's no mid-range drop off at all that I can tell. A dyno meter may tell a different tale, but I am truly happy with them. When I took the bike in for servicing the other day at my local shop, the guy that worked on the bike and test drove ...
