(5 stars) reviewed on 02/11/07 byParker (wcso17q) from Sylvester, GA, United States, for a 2006 650 V-Star Silverado wrote: I got my pipes in the other day, and it took less than an hour to install. Fired it up and couldn't believe what I was I hearing. Took it for a run and the sound got better in each gear. Came back home, took the baffles out, removed the fiberglass packing, put the baffles back in (less than 10 minutes), and fired it up again. The sound was unbelievable! This was the sound that I was dreaming of. LOW, DEEP RUMBLE. Took it for another spin, and the wife said she could hear me seven blocks away! If you want the look and sound, these are the pipes for you. These pipes look better than stock with it's staggered, slash cut appearence. (4 stars) reviewed on 08/25/06 byRunningwolfe (runningwolfe) from Jacksonville, FL, United States, for a 2006 650 V-Star Silverado wrote: I got these yesturday, installed them today. Installation was a breeze. About half an hour. All parts went on nice and easy. I have a complaint about the heat shield though. The front pipe heat shield is about 5 inches too short. I ordered all the right stuff. I went and rechecked to make sure I didnt get the wrong thing. Other than that it was an awesome set of pipes. Engine got hotter nthan normal but I still need to rejet and put the hyper charger on. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |
