What I would expect from Vance & Hines; great pipes, look good, and sound good. Much more bark than I expected, however, and believe I may be over our 96db sound limit (at least on the take-up). I'll be testing the bike at a track to see what the db level is and will update for those interested. All in all, very happy with the purchase.

These sound great! I put them in, with some help, in about 45 minutes. They are real easy to install. When I got the on I realized that one of the baffles did not get shipped with the pipes. I called Vance and HInes who shipped it the day I called. They sound mean with the baffles out, but if you live in a quiet neighborhood, such as I, you might leave them in. With the baffles in, they still sound great!

installed in conjunction with K&N filter, easy fitment approx half hour - little bit noisier than expected but at least it now sounds like a bike and not a VW. noticeable power increase including low torque and top end - next project will be rejetting.

Great exhaust system that installed easily and sounds great. I was little reluctant to purchase the cheapest system, but it definately delivers as promised. The only thing I did not like was the hose clamps to hold the heat shields on. They seemed to be a cheap way out, but they do work.

These pipes were very straightforward to fit but I was extremely surprised by how loud they are.I have to wheel the bike down the drive before I dare fire it up.I wonder if Vance & Hines supply quieter baffles for these pipes just to take the edge off the noise.I just hope that the local police are kind to cruiser bike riders.I purchased the re-jetting kit but haven't fitted it because the bike does not suffer from any backfiring.

sound nice. I think it is a little safer now that it is a little louder. very easy to install, even for an amateur. also put on the jet kit. this was a little more complicated, had to do it twice but it was worth it, now have a little more jump and louder safer bike
