Just installed the exhaust and I was not disappointed. Believe what everyone is saying . This exhaust is loud. Sounds great. I did not follow the instructions but the install went perfectly.

No more 'sewing machine' sound. A little louder than I expected but real throaty sound. Highly recommended. Moderately easy install although the rear pipe is a little tight.

Definitely an improved sound over standard pipes, with combination of my hypercharger I love givin the bike some throttle. Have gotten nice compliments from strangers as I've pulled up to the bike shops. One complaint is that the headers have some additional chrome piled up on them that is easily sanded down softly with a dremel tool. You may need to do this in order for them to fit during installation. Only reason for the 4 stars.

Love them!! Took a bit to get them on. Had to grind down the rear flange (just like evryone else), but besides that pretty straight forward. Louder than I was expecting...but what a beautiful sound.

These Vance and Hines pipes are louder than expected, but my ride definitely has that nice deep throaty "potato, potato" rumble. At first I started customizing the stock exhaust myself by taking the baffles out and finally chopping the baffle part completely off. Which is a "no no" I later found out. These pipes sound great and loud!! Don't forget, though, we have a small displacement motor with a shorter stroke, so the pitch is still higher than the low big block rumble. But cruise at 30 MPH, drop it into 5th gear, crank on the throttle and your buddies will hear you coming from half a mike away. Ease of install was only limited to the rear pipe mount bracket. You almost need a third hand to help adjust them to bolt them up.

If you're looking for loud pipes, these are it. I had to grind down the flange on the rear pipe, but they slid right on after that. I don't have any problems hearing my pipes now. I don't think my neighbors like me anymore, though.
