CruiserCustomizing Staff Pick
A look that created a legacy for all others to follow. Vance & Hines revolutionized the exhaust marketplace when they first came out with the Longshots. Years later, the look is more popular than ever. Full headpipe length, 220 degree coverage heat shields that are each plasma-arc cut from a full piece of tubing that matches the bodies exactly for a perfect, non-bluing, fat-pipe look. Feature 1 3/4" headpipes with 2 1/4" muffler bodies and removable baffles. Customize with optional plasma-cut Hot Tips that can be mounted and rotated to two different angles. Vance & Hines' race inspired performance and traditional hot rod sound.

Those pipes are the 3rd set of exhausts I have on the Aero (after the Roadhouse slipons and the Bub Big Willies). They look great and have give the Aero and awesome sound. With the optional tips from Barons you can customize the look.

Love the Longshots. They look great & the sound is even better. I have the baffles out, didn't know the Aero would growl like that. You'll love the sound baffles in or out. Install can get a little tricky around the floor board if you don't do it in the right order. For me it was putting the floor board back on first because there is plenty of clearance. Then loosely put the heat shield on the header pipe, slide into place under the floor board, then bolt the header pipe. If you ever change floor boards that header pipe will have to come off to reach the bolts. Gotta mention the shipping. Ordered Dec 19 with an expected SHIP date of Dec 27 which was fine. These things shipped on Dec 20, arrived SAT Dec 22. Installed on Dec 26 and now writing a review on the 27th. Thanks Guys!!

The Longshots really compliments the lines of this bike. These suckers are loud. Love em. Having jetting issues. Can't seem to get rid of the popping completely.

Have not installed yet,but will be over the next few days. Will update review once on, but not anticapating problems.......... It took a while to get them on, had problems with the bottom nut on second header (not much room on bike to play with). The major concern was with the main exhaust bracket, the holes did not line up and i spent a conciderable amount of time with a rat tail file elongating them to a point where I had sufficent free play to adjust the mufflers to the correct fitting positions. Other than that I`m very happy with the finished systems sound and performance. Just a bit of advice when it comes to a shadow Aero leave the right footrest of till just before you tighten the front header bolts as you cant get it on the bike if the header is done up.

These were on the bike when I bought it. Great look, goes well with the long retro lines of the Aero. Swapped out the baffles to cut down the bark a little bit.
